PeopleSoftCity
There's a new site dealing with general
PeopleSoft topics, both functional and technical:
www.peoplesoftcity.com.
The site includes a blog, the usual discussion forum, and reference material.
One interesting and useful posting covers
general SQR performance considerations
(see the response to the question posted
here).
It's really good advice that, if followed, will
solve many of the more common SQR performance issues.
Another useful feature of the site is the full
text of PeopleBooks for various products. I know
that a few universities have exposed portions of PeopleBooks online
for a long time now, but I always wondered if this
was really intentional... Anyway, there they
are in their entirety on PeopleSoftCity. Look to
the right side of the home page. Some JD Edwards
and Siebel documentation is also available there.
So it looks like a good new site—head on over
and take a look.
Until next time...
